ATRL culture is and has always been evolving far before you even joined the site. Everything that has changed even the slightest has been complained about and bitched about yet makes the site even better in the long run.

You say complained and bitched about, but would you prefer it if everyone stayed silent and accepted every change? I would hope that the mods/admins wouldn't turn their ears away from the very members who keep this site going strong. I like to think we all (admins, mods, and regular users) can sharpen each other and learn from one another. I just have a lot of faith in people.

Well not necessarily just a GIF or smiley, but a picture as well. Like in SYG if you post an unbecoming picture of an artist (like Britney in 2007) to prove a strong point. No words needed. Would that be pointless? And then even with GIF's, if someone says "Lady Gaga is a great dancer" and I post this, again no words needed to understand the point, is that REALLY pointless?

Any changes made to the site aren't made to hurt the members but rather make things better for the general member as a whole. We have forums on the site like ATRL HQ to hear feedback and see what people feel. We take in everything when we make a decision. But change isn't a bad thing.
And for you SYG question another mod would have to take this one since I don't venture into the section
