- This has been in place for a long time. NHB and SYG used to be free-for-all zones but it eventually got out of control with certain members posting extremely racist, homophobic or otherwise ignorant insults. You'll have to drag members without having to resort to such low tactics.

Members are also being warned for "pointless" "annoying" and "flamebait" for stating their opinions in a non hostile way. People shouldn't be able to control what you say AND how it is said. We are all different.
- I personally never warn flamebait. Usually if you get a warning from me, it will be when it's blatantly obvious Trolling. If you're hit with "Flamebait", I also suggest trying to contact the moderator that issued the warning. Opinions are sometimes taken out of context and we're glad to reconsider unfair warnings. As for "Annoying" and "Pointless", I already explained those in preceding paragraphs.

1. NHB because you are insulting the banned member.

2. NHB because you are criticizing a mods work in an explicit manner.

3. HQ is a place to talk about ATRL related things. For example warning points. Here you can complain about a warning point you got and hope a mod responds. If you don't get a direct response and still want to know a reason or possibly get it reversed then send in a help request. It is a more direct way to get to us.

4. They can be seen as pointless and bring nothing to the discussion. For me personally, I have generally stopped giving pointless warns to reported posts with just a smiley or a gif as a response because I know it's a way of responding. That doesn't mean I don't all together though, for me it depends on the situation

difficult to not get WP's, I haven't received 1 all this year, and
this is the year I became more active.
WP's are not meant to get people out of the game, they are meant
to keep the forum under control and that more people can join and have
fun, talk about their faves, etc. If you receive a WP for a reason, then you
should avoid to commit that reason again; but some people get points for flamebait
or shading some artists and keep on doing that and they receive more points and yet
they come to complain about the issue.

Are you trying to cause a fight with Ashley? Then, NHB.
If you're just complaining about her becoming a member, then ATRL HQ.

2. If it's a specific mod, like calling me out, then NHB/PM/Wall makes more sense, honestly. This thread is for general discussion. Why should other mods have to try to look at this and help and solve stuff when you're clearly out to start a fight with me?

3. The Help Tool is sort of for the same stuff. Sometimes you may not want to post but still need help or something resolved. This thread is more for confrontational material, from my understanding.

4. Again, do you go around staring, making facial reactions, and laughing with people, never saying a word? When you deal with countless posts in a thread with that kind of image-only behavior, it get's irritating and, is, pointless.

In summary, NHB for fights or direct confrontation. ATRL HQ for general ATRL discussion.

It was a combined effort and as it has been repeatedly mentioned, the bans will be lifted in 14 days.
It's a way to remind people to use NHB for actual fights.

5. NHB is for fights that you would normally get warned for in other places. If it looks like a fake fight between you and your friend then you would probably get banned from NHB.

For Kworbs post, I would personally warn it for off-topic

7. You can bitch about it here... if it's a specific page not loading or you are getting some funky weird message that you haven't received before on any page then go to technical support.
