Trending is very important. It's free promo. If a song starts to trend, more people become interested in it and they are more likely to listen to it and purchase it. When views and downloads are divided, it gives the illusion that the song is not as popular, and so support never fully picks up.
I would rather have 1 song in the Top 10 on iTunes than 2 versions of the same song in 20s and 30s. It's also better to have 1 music video getting 1 million views on its first day than 2 videos getting 500,000 views.

She's done 2 versions of her most succesful songs (Hips don't lie, beautiful liar, whenever wherever...), I think she can deal with this

Ok so this girl Valentina Patruno is a Venezuelan TV host and she was on the same plane as Shakira to Miami, and she says she didn't look pregnant at all... from her twitter:

Good point excetp HDL never had a spanish video version. She should do the video but just release a spanish version if she wants. not a video.
