That's true but that photo showed the severity of the situation. The backlash wouldn't have been as strong if that picture had never been released.

The thing that bothers me is that they accepted money for the photo(s). Even if the "world needed to see" did the world need to see without Rihanna's permission and did the cops need to make thousands of dollars off of it?

It would be different if Rihanna knew about it, or maybe even if they donated the money to some kind of domestic violence charity, but I feel like they just exploited a woman at her most vulnerable. They made money off of her misery without her even knowing, and that makes them pigs.

If anything, as women, they probably felt morally obligated to share the photo with the world.

Often times when it comes to the female being the victim in domestic violence, we aren't aware of what actually happened to them. Without the picture, all of her bruises, scars, etc. would've just been plain ole' rumors.

These women knew that the WORLD needed to know how Chris Brown handled Rihanna that night in the car.

I agree. The world didn't need to see anything, it was between rihanna and chris. Millions of people didn't need to see a battered and bruised Rihanna to know how to judge Chris Brown.
