will.i.am set for first solo UK #1 single, Chris Brown #2
will.i.am has stormed the midweek singles chart with 'This Is Love'.
The track has zoomed into the lead on the tally and takes him on course for his first solo number one in the UK as the lead artist.
Meanwhile, Chris Brown is the second-highest new entry at two with 'Don't Wake Me Up', while last week's number one Maroon 5 fall to three with 'Payphone'.
Elsewhere in the top ten, Cheryl Cole's A Million Lights slips three to five with 'Call My Name', Stooshe dip from four to eight with 'Black Heart', and Katy Perry's Wide Awake climbs two spots to complete the top ten.
Further down the chart, Taio Cruz debuts at 16 with 'There She Goes', Jay-Z and Kanye West's 'N****s In Paris' is at 17, while their track 'No Church in the Wild' enters at 32 following their surprise performance at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend.
I wanted "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever) to be #1, this single should have peaked at #2 and Chris Brown should have debuted at #1. Congrats to him and sorry for "Don't Wake Me Up", the one that deserved that position.
Let's capture the moment
Cause even forever ain't forever
I swear by the moment
Cause together ain't promised forever
Let's live in the moment
As long as we got each other
I'm prepared to die in the moment
