Janet, Jimmy & Terry couldn't lay off the ugly 80s drum machines and synths. Don't blame the Queen, whose music has aged much more gracefully btw.

Sylvia Plath and Anne Sexton are my favorite poets and two of my biggest inspirations. I think I understand poetry, and Mariah sucks at it. She tries hard, but she sucks.

Like think how CRAZY it would be if Fefe Dobson was labeled as an R&B artist when her music is clearly rock, or Darius Rucker labeled as same when his music is bar none country.
Hootie and the Blowfish is clearly a rock band leaded by an African-American.
If they labeled them as R&B, I'd think the industry is racist and delusional.

K, but Frank DOES make R&B music.

Gaga is more like Elton, tbh. They're both eccentric and wear funny outfits because they can. Madonna was never anything like that.

Outside of Gaga's more creative more over the top costumes, they are. A hell lot more than Britney (who only shares the same hair color) that's for sure

Why does a great album like Usher's flop and Biebers do so well? Makes me mad, tbh.

How? Madonna was very sexually charged. So is Britney. Gaga isn't sexually charged. She's just weird, and Madonna was never really weird.
Even her most out-there costume (the cone bra) was sexual and not eccentric.

Frank's music is definitely more alternative-leaning than his contemporaries, but most of it (or at least what we've heard) still IS R&B music. Most of Nostalgia, Ultra mixtape was very soul-influenced, as are Thinkin Bout You and Pyramids.

Don't even bother Clark.
None of the stuff he praises is "well-written" by his OWN logic and standards.
It's hopeless arguing with him.

I'm going to be honest & say I don't think his numbers are that stellar. Which is hypocritical considering that he's debuting with twice the amount Rihanna, Katy, & Usher can do, but I feel like he's one of the IT artists right now who should be able to debut with at least 500K. I thought he could approach a million, but obviously I was waaayyy off. I think too many people hate him or something.
MW2.0 debuted with only 100K less, so I feel like his sales should have jumped a little more. I guess I think this is the peak of his career & he should be able to do more, considering how much popularity he has gained. Maybe teen pop fans aren't as devoted now as they used to be.
I could be entirely wrong. Maybe the album will sell with time like My World 2.0 did. It's just interesting to me how this works out. Plus, the fact that the predictions are falling is not a good sigh already.

He did the most writing on this album: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graffit...#Track_listing
The only other songs that come to my head are Forever and Yeah 3x. I think he said that he wrote those two songs in less than an hour and he was proud of that or something . He has a good ear for a hit pop song IMO.

No. Those were the stan and hater predictions.
HITS and Billboard were conflicted. They mentioned 400-500k.
My initial prediction was 550k. Then I realized the buzz wasn't that big and scaled it down to 400-500k.
390k would be kinda low. Good, but still low.
