EXACTLY! We need all the katycats here to support first, at the very least. It's impossible to achieve those monster updates without effort from even ourselves.

I agree we need to request hard but do you think Capitol will let the song die on radio like that?

I don't think so. I mean, we are having the sales, the radio is the missing puzzle piece. If they want that #1 they will do something about it. But that doesn't mean we should stop requesting. Btw, I'm worried about audience in pop

You're right in the sense that Capitol won't give up easily. But it would be better if we request it. I don't want a B.o.b or Missy Elliot remix anymore, nor do I want the discounted sales that have people gossiped about.
We're representing the audience. So if the radio DJ sees an increase in the request they'd think more people wanna hear it. Which makes them play it more in a legit way. Imagine if TOTGA didn't have those remixes and discounts. Even if it didn't make it to number one, it wouldn't receive those negative comments.

What I was trying to say it's that if the song keeps getting those poor updates they'll likely try payola (

) because right now we are having the sales and with more promo coming and the movie I'm pretty sure the song is staying at least in the top 5 for a while. And obviously I don't want a remix either
