Fearless was the best album in that category. I wish people would get over it. Taylor demonstrated the best artisry of all the other candidates and no other album was bigger commercially and critically so it was an EASY/predictable win if anything.

Honey there is nothing artistic about recording yourself reading a 15 year old girl's diary with a guitar in the background. I don't think Taylor should have won that over GaGa, Dave Mathews, and IASF.

As much as I love the album, the band shouldn't have been considered a nominee for Best New artist when they had their debut years ago.
