Artists like Britney (who I'm assuming you are talking about) have great ears for music, no one else can sing Britneys songs and that what makes her special, and she writes on everything she does to make it "Britney", no one else can pull off songs like Toxix, Gimme More, Slave, etc.. Besides, you can't just stan for someone cos you think they are talented (which is subjective - I'm not expecting you to agree with what I'm saying), their music has to be good.

Everybody saying talent is the most important thing yet everybody on ATRL stan for Britney, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga...
Nono of these are popular or commercially succesful for their talent.
They are talented in different ways though,
but don't pretend you stan for the most talented artists when you spend all day fighting for chart positions, sales, forbes, etc.

To answer the question.... i appreciate talent, but i stan for the music i like, the songs that make me feel something.... i don't care if the singer is Manson, Katy Perry, Chris Martin or John Mayer, as long as i like the music i will stan for the artist.

No, people get into fights over who is talented and who isn't all the time. but its subjective, sales are not, its easier to fight over that.

Right. People don't seem to get this. Yeah, some talentless singers have come about but they never last. You need talent to last.
