I don't think she will be. She's had hits in Canada before but they didn't make it into the US, like the songs of many other Canadian artists. For example her song "Bucket" or "Tug Of War." Call Me Maybe was already a hit in Canada before, with Bieber's help, radio in the US recognized it and started playing it. I definitely believe she will have other hit singles in the future now that she's known in the US.
This could be her "A Thousand Miles" - a big hit that is heavily used in pop culture and makes way for a moderate hit single. After that, no one really cares anymore.
But you can't really count anyone out in the digital era.
Curiosity is even catchier than CMM, (for me anyway) and as long as she's backed by Bieber and his team, she's in good hands. It seems like she's garnering an actual fanbase too, so I think you guys are being too quick to write her off.
Yes, it's just one of those indie songs that makes it big for a year or so. Like 'We Are Young', 'Pumped Up Kicks', 'Somebody I Used To Know', and more.
Call Me Maybe is not indie

Nope. "Talk to Me" and "Curiosity" sound like hits to me. Even "Just a Step Away" and "Picture" could attain moderate success on the radio.. Have you people even listened to her EP? Clearly most people have only heard "Call Me Maybe".
Yes. There's nothing about her to keep people interested.
