Commercial Success or Actual Talent?
With so many here stanning for "artists" with very little artistic talent - a few or all of the follow; can barely hold a note, could never dream of singing live without causing trauma to listeners, can't dance, can't write, can't create a melody or arrange a vocal - I have to ask...
Do you stan for commercial success or talent?
If your fav is very talented but experiences a noticeable reduction in their commercial success (TRANSLATION: becomes "irrelevent") would you still stan?

Both. There's plenty of artists who are talented, but what sets some of them apart is their ability to have commercial appeal as well.

Talent. The sales can come easily with good songs. I'm not here for talent failing on talent shows and a jackass winning...which happened nearly every year on X factor Uk (bar 2006, 2008 and 2009/11).

+1  Who stans for success? You stan because of your fave's uniqueness and talent/music...the success comes later does it not?

You stan for someone because you like/connect with them as a person and you like their music. The level of talent doesn't matter, otherwise we would all be stanning for the same people. Someone can be really talented but come out with **** that no one wants to buy, others might not be the best singer but they make great music so you stan.

But even talent is subjective. Just because you think someone is untalented doesn't mean their stans think the same.
