Yeah. UK is dead. She gets a fair bit of Belgian love. She really should hammer European promo. UK artists get it so hard v their US counterparts It's good mainstream. People say it's cheap because it's not WFL style or WHYB or Starships. That's classed as 'expensive/classy' pop. The lack of musical creativity has irked me as Alex's acoustics/live performances are class, she needs an album like 4. Solid music. She needs to stay away from electro, lest it be like All night long or Bad Boys.

I dont think she should do a 4 album, even Beyonce couldnt make that a success. But she does need to make a good R&B-pop album, that is what she could get from a new label.

She isn't going to make it in America either.. I love the album, but her music isn't distinctive enough to grab her any attention. "Overcome" had its bunch of signature songs. This album doesn't really have any singles yet that captivate your interest. That's why I want her to release "Sitting On Top of the World".

The sad thing is that she has nothing to fall back on, Overcome had solo songs but also some big guests, so if some single would underperform, they have enough songs left to gain attention. HOH is a great cohensive dance/pop album but she has nothing to fall back on, or she should try to get remixes (by highprofile DJ's and with guests), but since I don't see her label investing it that, I have a feeling she is doomed and that this era will probably not last if the next single will underperform aswell, which is sadly most likely.
The only hope would be if she would be able to focus on other countries, but I think RCA is even too messy for that.

Damn if she could have used Before It Explodes on this, she could have used Bruno to atleast get another hit this era....UGH I hate how this is handled

I guess this is a really low point in her career right now. She really needs to reinvent herself. I want her look to be darker, grimier, edgier and more distinctive. She needs to get rid of this "X Factor" puppet image. I seriously don't know what else she could do? This is a crisis. Someone help the poor girl!

She should step it up right now. Doing choreos and high vocals weren't enough.
If she gets dropped by RCA I'm sure someone would pick her up, still it'd be risky because she'd have a floppy album as last record released.
Release "Between The Sheets" with a steamy video and see how she's gonna be on everybody's mouth - most of all she should promote in fooken Europe, but I believe the label likes to see her flopping

Oh I mean in style, like I care, pure beats and instrumentation,a proper live feel. Bey did well and was pregnant at the time. Songs like I care, End Of Time, Countdown, BTINH, Alex needs that. She promoes hard so it can work. Pop/R&B is where it's at with soul ballads. She cannot forget her core and her origins, which I don't think she has, but RCA did.

Yeah, this album, oddly enough sounds like a europop album, but not Only Girl europop, like Mr Saxobeat esque. She needs to also write all the songs, the critics ripped into ha as she said it was a personal album with 2 credits on it, kinda hypocritical.
