Exactly. And in the end your energy content in your body is returned to the Earth if you choose to be buried and the cycle of life continues. Its not depressing at all.

Because we all know it's gonna end. It's an overwhelming thought to think that once this is over, that's it. There's nothing more. I know from personal experience.
I didn't know we had so many religious posters on ATRL.

He has a point and it's debatable. Right now everything spoken out from any human being has its own valid point. Don't ever completely cast down the whole speech of other people while you don't bring up any persuasive point to stand your opinion.
Well, I don't get the point of atheists in voicing out their stance on this matter. You are already living life with no hope. You have no fear in sinning because you've already ruled out there's a Supreme Being who would punish you in the end. You have absolute control of your life and fate and you're only accountable to yourself. Is that what you mean? What good will not believing in God do to humanity? You're like only implying it's okay to have sex with multiple partners outside the confines of marriage and that sodomy is just okay as well since I've said no one will punish you by so doing, and when great tribulation strikes in your life, it's useless praying 'cause no one hears you and suicide is your only hope to get out of it.
Let's not include religion since religion is man-made and is flawed, but believing in God is the greatest thing in this world that ever had a positive effect on men and their outlook in life. It gives them hope to withstand all life's adversities, and wisdom to triumph all its challenges and struggles. And you know, when something yields a positive effect on a large scale, it's real. Now don't ask me why the world is still in chaos even if most people believe in God. The world would have probably ended centuries ago by man's cause if there wasn't a God they believed in and feared.
