It amazes me that people still think they're saying something new or clever by ragging on Lindelof, when in reality, people who hated Lost's ending have proven time and time again that they didn't understand it.

I don't dislike Lindelof because the Lost ending was a piece of **** (of course you stan for Lost)

I dislike Lindelof because he can't write. His writing is poor. Lost was a perfect example of his inconsistencies that led to too many loose ends, some of which were wrapped up in an even poorer 7 minute effort.

In Prometheus, he makes **** up for the sake of it, doesn't bother to characterize anyone save Shaw and David, doesn't bother to explain anything out of laziness, not audience entertainment, and single-handedly ruined the Alien canon IMHO.

He's a ****** writer get over it.

And the Lost ending sucked because it didn't deliver on six seasons of promises. Instead it wrapped everything up into "NOPE PURGATORY LOL" and forced the "It was all about the characters guize" rhetoric on its faithful viewers.

That is cool! But its promotion could of been better.
There are lots of people who claim to never have seen a trailer or heard about the film. My guess is that the budget was used on the film and not on promo.

But most critics applaud the plot. They tend to critize the low charater development in this film. The film is more plot driven then character, so im fine.
Again, i get your view point but i think your being to hard on the film. Your analzing it way to much. Just enjoy

I actually found the characters to be more interesting than the plot. I liked them, I just didn't like the situations they were in. Weird, I guess the critics and I disagree there.

There was a decent amount of promo, but there weren't commercials every 5 seconds or anything. The trailers were on point though, so good!

Well you said it, its promo was decent but not as big as other summer blockbusters. Ridly Scotts name alone was used a tool to get people to watch it. Its still did Amazing though.

David was incredibly curious, about everything. He wanted to see what the stuff did. As an android, he doesn't really have a concept of right and wrong.

Don't forget the captain! He was really interesting actually, I enjoyed his character (and than "you wanna get laid" exchange with Vickers made me laugh)
