I sorta disagree. Singles are chosen usually for the biggest hit potential, but I don't think hit potential = quality.

Musically, Freakum Dress is amazing.
It's gay and campy and **** on the surface, but once you look at it from a musical perspective, it's a brilliant song.
Rich's production on the song is repetitive, as are all of her tracks, but it's her voice that's creating the song and shaping the structure of the song. That's something that's very unique to her artistry and I really respect that. I mean who else would think of that vocal arrangement for a campy ass song like Freakum Dress?
