Aside from being trapped in the closet like an ugly sweater, it's pretty great actually. Guys are soo beautiful. And we get to do things straight girls can't. We get to see guys dress in the locker room with no awkwardness. We get to room with guys in college or at sleep away camps. Basically the divide between genders doesn't affect us. I loves it.

This. I haven't came out, but my brother is pretty much confirmed gay and my parents are alright with it. They're a little disappointed, but still talk to him. I don't think I'll come out to everyone until I'm moved away.

It comes with growing up in Alberta. Still alot of homophobia, (I mean a politcal party member here said gays should drown in a lake of fire. )

I remember my dad saying, he didn't want to think about one of his son's "getting freaky with another boy."
