No see for many people, the point of using social outlets is to document the things you do in your daily life. Many people tweet things like 'on my way to work' every day even though it's not new information but they do it because it's the reality of they're life. Rihanna smokes weed often so she tweets about it. If she were 'staging' this behavior then I'd understand the outrage but this is something she does.

You do know she was smoking weed/drinking/partying/having sex and openly talking about it during the LOUD era right? My point stands, she's not doing anything different then what other people who use twitter/facebook do. Document their lives for the world to see and thus seeking attention

but there's a difference between just simply stating what you feel or think at the moment and posting pictures or videos of you doing illegal things for feedback. You can debate the 'extent' of attention seeking if you want but that's all subjective. The point is if you openly disclose info about yourself publicly, you're almost always looking for feedback and THAT is seeking attention. Plenty of people do what she's doing and many people don't so there's nothing shocking to take away from this. If you can't relate then fine but please lest not act like twitter or facebook is supposed to be a platform for conservatism.

And by the way, grown adults don't post pictures/tweets/videos of themselves smoking weed everyday. Immature highschool kids do that kinda stuff and then get shamed for it by sensible people.
