No. The song was an outdated mess. You're right that the song would've done well in the 80's, and that's not a good thing.She just took popular sounds from an old era and put them into a new song. Didn't update it or 'take inspiration' from it. She just copy/pasted.

The song isn't a classic because it doesn't deserve to be.

I said she just rehashed the same sound. And that's why it isn't a classic. It might have done well if released 30 years ago, but it wasn't a song that people connected to today, and that's why it isn't a classic.

The song is great lyrically, but I don't feel the production. The video really killed the song for me though.

Nah. It was a good pop song, but it didn't really get anyone talking.

Just Dance will be a classic, because it was how she got noticed. People wondered "why isn't she famous?" because it caught on so well.

Poker Face will be a classic because it made her stand out. It made her become cemented as a popular artist and carried her beyond the one hit wonder pitfall.

And of course, Bad Romance will be remembered as a classic for its video. Not necessarily for the song itself.

In four years, that's three classics obtained within her first year of mainstream popularity. Which is okay.
