And? Katy Perry matched MJ's record of most #1's from an album; does that mean Katy is on the same level as Michael Jackson? Of course not.

Just matching a record really doesn't mean anything without a certain level of impact. Missy was and is an icon and innovator; she did things and contributed to hip hop in a way no one before her had. She really broke the mold.

One of the most creative and unique minds in modern music. I can play the stuff she and Timbaland did as artists and for other artists like Aaliyah and Ginuwine from the late 90s and it still doesn't sound dated.

Hmm. I would say everything about Missy Elliot makes her the queen of rapping, apart from her rapping. She thought outside of the box, but if you really think about her lyrics, she makes up words. Like shes really not the best at rapping.

Really? Not virtually every list created by any critic for the all time greatest songs?

Everyone I've see includes Get Ur Freak On because that song was so ahead of it's time. It was a masterpiece, something Nicki might never do (Although I hope she does)

Nicki barely makes critics year end list and y'all acting like she's better than Missy Elliot.

I love Nicki, and Pink Friday was amazing, but anyone with ears can see Missy is much better in terms of flow, production and lyrics. She's a genius.
