FANatic aired on MTV in the '90s. Viewers would send in tapes explaining why they should be chosen to met their favorite celebrity. Winners would be ambushed by a and a friend of the winner and a camera crew, who would surprise the winner with the good news wherever they were and immediately bring them to a limo that would start their travels to met their star. The winner then got to meet the star and interview him/her/them with questions he came up with before the interview. Occasionally, the celebrities would do an activity with the winner, such as a girl who got to play drums with Foo Fighters during a sound check. Two celebrities/winners were profiled in each half-hour episode.

Now, think of all the people who want to meet Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, any of the Disney kids, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, any character in Twilight...list goes on!

They do need to bring that back.It was a good show.

With their incessant focus on reality shows I'm actually surprised that they don't air this anymore or haven't brought it back yet.

that's what i've thought. it still focuses on their new love of strictly reality tv with still being able to incorporate music, which mtv was founded upon.

IT NEEDS TO COME BACK! over a decade later and i'm sure people still want to see it.
