it's getting really boring ..

only Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Leona Lewis and Susan Boyle became successful, most of the rest still sound adorably crappy, they can sing but their voice are easily forgettable. And their records are just so plain...

you see the majority of the pop stars can't sing super well either, still they got style and are doing great. We need good songs and great styles, not "adorability". :confused:

Pure entertainment and of course, it's a big money maker, now even more cuz they are selling the performances online.

ummmm Fantasia is Amazing and has the most unique voice of them all and will sing them all in a grave :)

Idol is still relevant. Seasons 6 and 8 produced the best contestants.

It's funny how AI keeps on raking huge draws yet their by-products quickly fizzle right after a month.

I'll put it this way:

Kelly: Her music is great, but she's too serious for me.
Carrie: She's badass.
Chris: All his stuff sounds the same
Leona: I Like some of her songs but she's pretty boring.
Kris: OH MY ****ING GOD. Why does everyone like him...he sucks!
Jordin: I like some of her stuff...but since I found out 30GB iPods hold up to 7500 songs I've decided to stay away from her music and save my money for something that I will REALLY enjoy.
David A.: I don't really like him, but i love his song Desperate
David C: I hate him...he sucks
Taylor: Screw him
Ruben: Again, screw him
Allison: She's cool
Adam: Not as good as Allison but he's cool...and I liked his hot mess performance.

It's been boring for the past few seasons. The show needs to cast more talent who sing R&B and Soul music. Those were the best seasons. Like the ones with Jordin and Fantasia. Last season was the worst, IMO. Nobody had any outstanding talent and I'm not even sure how Kris Allen even made it to the Top 10. I don't like Adam, but at least he has some talent and something about him that stands out. Kris has to be one of the most ordinary and boring contestants ever. His album is flopping and he is still sitting there cheesing and sniffing roses.

I guess if Simon leaves, this show is over. :-$

:shakeno: After the first four songs the album goes downhill fast. Kara Dioguardi totally ruins it with her awful songwriting.

Also Avril Lavigne's revolutionary pop/rock album Under My Skin was released before Breakaway.
