It's getting to be that time of year again, and there are many ways to celebrate. Relationships, gifts, family, food, and of course music! Now a lot of us probably dust off the Christmas albums around this time and play them as if they were new releases. Monster holiday hits such as "All I Want for Christmas Is You," "My Only Wish (This Year)," "My Grown Up Christmas List," "The Chanukkah Song," and others get downloaded and played to death this time of year. However, I associate some songs with this time of year even though they have no connection whatsoever. I was wondering if I was the only oddball here or if anybody else has songs they love to play this time of year that have nothing to do with the holidays?
One major one for me is, oddly enough, "Holiday" by Hilary Duff. Contradicting to the title, the song is not about any holiday in November, December, or January. In fact, the song gives a summer vibe to it, but whenever I hear it, I can't help but think of a cold winters day with a blizzard coming in.
Others that kind of have this same effect on me are:

Skye Sweetnam "Sharada"
Rihanna "Hate That I Love You (feat. Ne-Yo)"
