The problem with her voice is that she keeps singing in a very nasal kind of way. Maybe if she'd loosen up a little. Though, this was a good performance, she can do better.

She has such an interesting voice, she needs some more singing lessons though, but she didi great :)

I honestly can't understand how an Avril fan can criticize Katy for sounding too "nasal," and Yahhh!'s double standards are apparent yet again. As long as you're a hip-hop artist, it's okay to sound off-key throughout the entire performance, but heaven forbid a pop star hit one flat note and all of a sudden they're "terrible." Yahhh!, what you like listening to doesn't even qualify as music, so :hey****you:.

...Anyways, Katy's performance here was fine, but I hate the arrangement. I hate the violins, I hate why there are so many instruments playing and they're not in harmony. This performance just sounded so busy and cluttered. It should have been Katy + a guitar + one or two more instruments and that's it.
