Thank you . I use to not like going on that side of the gym either. But then i just stopped caring and just did my thing. I dont like using free weights for my chest, but i use them to train my bi/triceps. I love to use cables on my chest tho. They are nice to shape the chest.
I lift 40 lbs dumbells on my biceps. But the thing is you dont need to use heavy weights on arms, its more important to use the right form and isolate the biceps

I'm just trying to live a healthy life style. My mom has high blood pressure and my dad has high chloesterol and I have an uncle with heart problems and other dieseases. So I'm just trying to avoid all that by eating completely healthy and staying active. I wanted to lose some weight that I gained the past couple months. I was 140lbs and I gained 12lbs but now I'm down to 142lbs. I believe I average about 1500 calories a day give or take a bit. Trying to just get a leaner body. I'm really just trying to get abs and get more toned up.

I used to hate working out but this year I've really grown up. We have an elliptical and free weights in our basement, for a long time nobody used them, but now I try to go on the elliptical every day for 15-30 min and weight train at least every other day. And I love doing it.

It's not that simple. Some people are born with fast metabolisms while others aren't... it's all in the thyroids. My sister isn't huge but she isn't thin either, she has a thyroid disorder which makes it super difficult for her to lose weight--but it's not exactly an illness.

A bit, but at the same time you're spot on for a lot of people. I think it comes down to the choices people make for their lives. Some have to sacrifice exercise for their careers or kids. They don't really have room to complain about being overweight. I hope that never happens to me. I feel great exercising and eating fairly healthy, and I don't see why I would ever want to stop.
