I just saw the video and honestly I didn't think this could get any better but it has. This is without a doubt the hottest song of the year. It will go #1...it has to. And the video is one of the best year. I can't believe I ever doubted/hated her!

Tell me about it, if u want to see beyonce no. 1, go vote for her on my new countdown i just created, she hasn't made the c/d yet, i just premiered the video. According to how the people will vote, she might debut at no. 1 tomorrow, but she has some tough competition from Mary J blige, Ashanti and Chris brown which i know alot of people love.

I said in another Beyonce thread that this would definitely flop, and at the moment i think it really could go either way. The songs great, the videos great but if this doesn't get the promotion it needs then it will be a flop, whereas if it does get a fair amount of promotion, airplay etc, then this is gonna be huge. The reason why i said it would be a flop is because normally songs taken from movies never get much promotion, plus this song doesn't have an album (excluding #1's) to back it up, if this was the first single from the new Beyonce album then there would be more hype surrounding its release.

AgendaSuicide, I disagree, this song will be huge. I agree in terms of not a lot of promotion. But despite the lack of promotion, Beyonce is rocketing to the top of the charts more and more every week. She is already in the top 20 and she just released the video now. Videos always add hype and interest in sales and airplay. This song will def fall somewhere in the top five if not number 1. I mean look at the top 10 now, several of the songs probably will be falling out soon including Gold Digger (I hope ASAP), and Run It will start declining soon. It's gonna set Beyonce up very well to enter the top 5 and beyond.

We'll see. These next few weeks will be crutial.

I have been a fan of DC since the beginning, and I loved Dangerously in Love, but I can't even stand to listen to Check On It. I have tried several times, but I can't even bring myself to listen to it all the way through (I almost made it once- it was la tortura), but I have heard the entire thing through the various clips I am able to listen to.

The point of all that is that I am in no way shape or form a hater of Beyonce. In fact, previous to this song, I have loved everything she put out, but this is just an utter piece of garbage. I respect that she could plow through that video in one day, but let's be honest people, it's flashy but absolutely nothing else. A poor video at best, and people were talking it up so big I was expecting to be blown away! I see it doing well, but I wish it wouldn't... :D
