The second single has been confirmed as "Illegal"....for 3rd I'd like to see "How Do You Do" from that list, and also "Animal City", "Timor" and "Costume Makes The Clown" for future singles... :D Am I asking for too much?

Wow, ever since she released OF2 you`ve been nothing but hating on this album (and sometimes her) non-stop :sick: .

I'm not hating on it. I'm just telling it like it is. Some of the songs on the album are great but none of them have radio possibilities. She ruined her chance of having a successful album by not having anything catchy or fun on her album like she did with Laundry Service and even Fixation VOL 1. I mean...the numbers and the reaction from overall music buyers speak volumes. I knew that this kind of pop/rock wasn't going to work for her as I said in the beginning, and I was right..."Dont Bother" flopped big time and the album did no better. Had she had something more catchy like LA TORTURA or OBJECTION this album would be on fire.

I agree, I think this album is like, one or two more POPISH songs away from being big! I mean, the album is good, but it just doesn't attract many of the 'regular' music listeners.

:sick: The song didn`t do THAT bad. No, it wasn`t a mega hit. It wasn`t as big as LT even, but it didn`t completely fail. I know #42 isn`t the best number ever, but the way you and others make it out to be is just horrible. But then again, whatever isn`t Top20 is automatically a FLOP, so I don`t even know why I posted this. :rolleyes: :sick:

And just because you don`t find the songs catchy, and isn`t to your "popish" liking (no offense meant of course), doesn`t mean that millons of others think the same. But well, this is just YOUR opinion, so oh well :rolleyes: .

Out of those, i would say 'How Do You Do'.

It has the possibility to become the next "My Humps" if promoted well and with a good video.

"Don't Bother" kinda had a lame video. Probably if it would have been more polished and flashy it would have done better for the song.

you know "hey you" is he only song i dont like from the CD..... but i found sometimes myself singing to the song without noticing ....LMAO it could be one of those anoying sticky song like my hump :D :p if picked i hope it has a good video :D

I think "Don't Bother"'s fault was the video. I know Shakira is friends with Jaume de Laiguana (I think that's how you spell it), but he wasn't a good choice for making the video. For the debut single she should have gotten a top of the line director like Francis Lawrence that would make an attractive looking video. This doesn't mean the video has to be hot (I thought the shower scene was unnecessary) but it should have some viewer appeal where it will be popular on MTV and video stations, meaning that the video looks nice and colorful and more polished.

If Shakira's record company can get the right promotion, single choices, and videos then "Oral Fixation Vol. 2" could become a big hit.
