I don't consider it a flop but it seems that all of us are used to see Shakira on top of the charts, this one is not doing that well...what do yall think?

besides, there are still 4 more singles to go....far better that DB

some people are saying it is a flop..Shakira haters.

For now, unfortunately, it is a flop. :sosad: And that isn't fair, the album is great. There are many terrible albums ahead of Shakira's. ¬¬

Like I said before, 4 more singles to go..maybe 5....those will be huge..I think..that type of songs( BD)..usuallly don't do well...and her weird voice in the middle of the song is scary but original and great....

Do you think she could release 6 single from an album with 11 songs? That's too much, no? And Shakira never releases that many singles. But I guess we'll have other 3, at least.
Btw, I agree with you, "Don't Bother" wasn't the right choice for a first single (though it's amazing) and is a bit weird for the US market, they think Shakira is only that "Whenever, Wherever" and "La Tortura" singer.

I predict that "Illegal" if promoted properly, could be the next "Underneath Your Clothes" and if she releases "Animal City", "Timor" or "How Do You Do" after that, the album will definitely rebound....

NO once it gets out out of the to 50 it would be a FLOP but I doubt it would.... Injanuary 10 the limmited edition would come out.... that will boost up sales :D

january sales will be poorly.. i predict that in order to get an 1 you only will need to sell 70K or less.. anyway, FO vol 2 is a FLOP in any sense of word at least , in australia debuted at 60, in France Flopped also in Japan flopped... worldwide has sold less than 1st week sales of FO vol 1

That is what she gets when she released her self 3 years ago as a copycat of all the pop singers...now worldwide market finds her unspecial and boring

Umm. It only dropped 40 something percent. That's pretty normal for second week CD sales. The reason it's at 27 is because other CDs are increasing by huge amounts because of Holidays. Just look at Chris Brown, his CD fell about 15 spots or something, and this dude has the #1 song of the country. I would give it some time before you write off OF2 as a flop.

i think sony knew about this...... since the album is Anti- laundry Service........to be serious that was what everybody was waiting for......Laundry Service Part 2...... i think they will be looking for long expancy of the album not just a #1 ;)

I don't think it was a flop and I don't think it was a success. Considering she had the highest ever debuting Spanish-language album earlier this year and her worldwide sales aren't being taken into consideration here, I'll hold off judgment on whether or not this one will go up or down.

Shakira didn't flop.
Thats obsurd.

I have been a fan since before the English language albums. I think this is way better than Laundry Service. Her songs are profound, rythmic, and go back to elements of her "Dónde Están Los Ladrones?" period.

The lead single is great. The video is even better. I think she'll definitely pick up album sales with a new single, most likely "Illegal" followed by "How Do You Do".

Honestly, questions like these are stupid.
