Why havent they been certified gold. Both have easily sold over 500,000 and are probably at about 650k each. So why arent they certified?

Toni Braxton got certified after only selling 290k.

I bet even Ashlee Simpson should be gold by now.

we have to wait about a month or two after the album released for the certifications.

They are likely waiting to skip gold and go straight to platinum, especially since they are able to certify based only on SHIPMENTS, these sets are probably close to shipping at least a mil. Also, neither of these sets look like they will be plummeting off the charts in the near future so they are probably hoping for continued sales...
