I wanna clear my point of view. I think Gaga is really talented...enjoyed her last efforts enormously. Its just in realms of this era that i find her to be overrated. All these claims of "album of the decade", endless promo...well- this **** just did not live up to the hype IMO.

Well...sorry about that then. Got misinformed reading it from somewhere...its not that i actually go out and by her records and read the liner notes. Still...did not enjoy the music either. Maybe with the exception of "the Edge Of Glory" "You And I".

Yah I know Swift has beautiful meaningful songs about being 15 or whatever but her defined hits are ALL about love, while Gaga can sound like a ***** (LoveGame, Bad Romance ect.) or like a role model (BTW) or a girl being in love (TEOG) but all these songs are successful. And she uses metaphors in her songs.
"She wears short skirt I wear T- shirt she's cheer captain and I'm on the bleacher". Oh how deep Swift's music is.

CERTAINLY not more overrated than Taylor Swift, that's for sure. Winning AOTY for a collection of fairy tale songs is the definition of overrated.

Overrated by who? Gaga gets decent - but not great - reviews. She's won a few Grammys but never dominated like Taylor and Beyonce. She swept the VMAS but that was actually well-deserved. The general consensus has never been that she makes great music.
